"Glastonbury needs a permanent police presence". I said this four years ago, asking for your support in the County Council Elections of 2001. Police presence in Glastonbury has since been boosted with two uniformed officers joining the local team. Their efforts have been further supplemented by our very own Police Community Support Officer.
Over the past four years every last Saturday in the month I have held a "Can We Help?" surgery through which I have been able to assist many people in Glastonbury. I will continue these and make public my monthly report to the Town Council. I live in Glastonbury and I know our town. I want it to be the safest, most enjoyable town in the county.
